Swing Doors and Roll-Up Doors can be applied to any standard model to accommodate any type of container (Drums, Totes, Pallets, Pails, Tanks, etc). Fusible link activated door hold open devices and panic bars are offered for our swing door line also.

Your hazmat may require specific temperature conditions to maintain the necessarily quality, as well as an intrinsically safe atmosphere. Heating and Cooling are offered in both Explosion Proof and Non Explosion Proof classifications. Refrigeration and Freezing units are available as installed items here at our factory, as well as available for field installations. Each temperature controlled hazmat storage building is also insulated to ensure proper function (R11 and R19 available, as well as special required values).

Fan forced ventilation may be required to due the material being stored, as well as the presence of harmful vapors. We offer Explosion Proof and Non Explosion Proof mechanical ventilation systems to meet this requirement. Fume hoods and Ventilation Thermostats are available also.

Many building codes and other requirements call for some sort of fire suppression for chemical storage buildings. As a result, we offer this suppression in several forms to meet your individual requirements. Water Sprinkler Systems, Dry Chemical Systems, Foam and CO2 Systems can all be installed on our buildings by our personnel, or a specialist at the point of location. Audible and visual alarms are available for these systems. Manual pull stations and other fire suppression accessories are available, as well.

The secondary containment (or sump) of each building catches any spills compliantly per all applicable regulations. Spill detection is offered for each model in Explosion Proof and Non Explosion Proof with audible or visual alarms, as well as available contacts for coordinating with an on-site alarm system. These devices are located within the spill containment area to notify of any detection immediately.

Shelving can be applied to any of our buildings to accommodate storage of materials without occupying crucial floor space. Our shelves are constructed with a 2” lip to create leak-proof spill containment at that level. This shelving is available in galvanized steel, as well as stainless steel. Other materials are available upon request.

Explosion Relief is offered in each construction we manufacture (Non Fire Rated, 2-Hour Fire Rated and 4-Hour Fire Rated), as well as each size we build. This construction is designed to meet either FM or NFPA requirements.
Explosion Relief Panel: Pressure-relief panel designed to release at an internal pressure of 20 psf. Open vent area is 1 sq. ft. per 50 cu. Ft. of interior volume.

Separation walls are provided for the purpose of segregating non-compatible materials. These walls are solid partitions from ceiling to the floor of the secondary containment. Open mesh walls can be provided for the sake of separating inventory, as well as security. Entry doors can be provided in these walls if needed.

The secondary containment area built into our buildings is typically covered with open grating to allow spills to flow in the containment area. This flooring can be offered in galvanized steel, aluminum, and fiberglass materials. Custom flooring can also be offered if a different type of surface is needed. When storing cylinders or other non-liquid materials, the secondary containment can be removed to provide a flat floor surface.
Steel Grate Flooring: Galvanized steel floor grating fabricated from welded steel grating. Floor System is fabricated to comply with NAAMM MBG 531.
